Greatings technician class seekers!

Welcome to the start of your entry into the exciting hobby of
Amateur Radio.  The purpose of this class is to prepare the
prospective student to pass the FCC Amateur Radio technician level
license. The technician license is the entry level license that
allows you to operate an Amateur Radio on many of the most popular
Amateur Radio VHF and UHF frequencies, especially frequencies that
are used in local ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) activities
includng storm watch and emergency communication activities. There
are many other fascinating directions you go with this level of
license or it can be a stepping stone to more advanced levels of
operating and services.  Come check it out!

 

The class is free. One book is required for the class, The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual and can be purchased from myself, Aaron. or the book can also be purchased
from the ARRL or many of the Amateur Radio suppliers for $25.
