VE testing

VE testing is the activity of testing individuals on behalf of the ARRL/FCC to attain or upgrade your FCC required amateur radio operator license.  VE stands for Volunteer Examiner, a group of licensed amateur radio persons who volunteer to administer the test.  In years past the FCC directly administered testing at FCC facilities but was ratified to amateur operators to reduce the load on FCC resources and letting testing sites be more accessible.
